i don’t have a lot to say except that there was great pieces of art, but the hole museum was a bit small. also the staff was very nice, charming and helpful. it’s really a must-do museum in Cologne. it’s near the station so very accessible. the museum sits inside an old church so it’s really funny to see the old infrastructure of the church on the outside of the building even though it looks very much not like the inside. the temporary exhibition was a bit small but cool and some things were really interesting and i would like to have them in my living room.

The exhibition about design and art in dialog in the 20th century is excellent. It's not very large but still many different items and paintings that illustrate clearly the different eras and styles. Because a large part of the other items at this museum are not being displayed at the moment, the entry fee is only 4 Euro, 2 Euro for students. It is definitely worth it to go have a look! Perfect for a visit of about 1-1,5 hours. There is a free tour daily at 2:30 PM.

It was very good. It didn't see everything. The 'middle age' section was closed to the public when I went. That was what I wanted to see. Friendly and helpful staff.
