The museum itself is really nice and the collection presentation was good (although a bit short), especially if you’re interested in Belgian designers. But the E/MOTION exhibition was truly AMAZING. Moving, touching, provocative, interesting designs from the 90’s, 00’s and 10’s, very logically and beautifully organized. Very interesting catchphrases and themes to discover through fashion, such as women’s bodies, drugs, pandemics and diseases and other social issues. Hats off to the curators. I’m glad we were accidentally in Antwerp while it was still on display.

Very well curated and interesting museum. Great storytelling about every single piece that’s exhibited. The Exploding Fashion: from 2D to 3D to 3D animation exhibit is amazing, it’s temporary so I recommend you to visit it as soon as possible. The museum is also part of the fashion university which in a way was cool.
