The poor bear is in this period in the middle of a construction site, visibility is poor due to high barriers around. It would have been better for August 2022 season to keep it in display with better quality glasses around. Definitely disappointed
The statue is located on the iconic and the crowded square on Puerta de Sol. Unfortunately, due to reconstruction, the statue was not visible for several days and after that, it could have been visible only within the reconstructed area, which was not the best experience ever. But not seeing this statue is not disaster and it definitely will not spoil your trip experience.
