It’s a really interesting place to go. There is still a lot to discover but there are multiple areas with columns and structures that make you understand the intensity of the buildings. Moreover, there is what is considered the oldest church which is interesting to see and which is the main attraction. The theaters are impressive as well. There good thing is that it’s not crowded as most of the tourism only goes to the hierapolis.

The archeological site is very large and impressive, we enjoyed our visit even with the rain coming down. It takes about 2 - 3 hours to visit, I'm not sure if there are guides at the site for hire, I would assume during better weather and time of year that there would be. I think that a guide here would enhance the experience incredibly so. The cost to enter is 25 TL, loved this place for so many reasons. One of Turkey's greatest Archaeological Sites once became an ancient city of Romans. The city is situated on the long spur of a hill between the narrow valleys. Except if you are interested in history or archaeology, there is not much you can do here except to witness the ruins. Wear a hat, sunglass or anything to cover as the sun is directly scorching you.
