This museum was a great surprise! I wasn't expecting that much but the variety and quality of the exhibitions impressed me, all of that contained in a cute cloister on 2 floors. The permanent exhibitions covers some archeological pieces, including a big mosaic masterpiece, and a collection of paintings from different European schools (mostly Italian and Portuguese). The temporary ones were about French movies posters, beautiful paintings of horses, and something more modern but really interesting. Everything is well explained, there was almost nobody, and the fee is ridiculous; 1e for student. I recommend a stop if you're passing by Faro.

A small but well though out museum, with both classic paintings and Roman artifacts (the recovered floor being a highlight). A trip to this museum is a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.
