A beautiful experience. An excellent museum. An added joy - the Temporary Exhibition from the Art Museum of Reims, a guided tour of early Impression. A wonderful afternoon... and the permanent archeological collection. The collection is well adapted for children with joyous presentations.

The temporary exhibition is worth seeing, though not all the paintings are to my taste. The permanent display is very well done with a good focus on Lodève and surrounds. It made sense of the regional geomorphology.

Fantastic! The permanent exhibit of Paul Dardé sculptures is excellent. The story behind Dardé and his methods was very interesting and the sculptures are exceptional - many of them feel as though they glow with an internal light. When we visited there was also a temporary exhibit on the faun and its importance in art history featuring several works by Picasso. There is also an interesting permanent exhibit on the geology of the area, but we were on information overload by the time we reached it. I highly recommend paying this museum a visit.
